Real Wedding: Rhett + Adam’s Boulder Country Club Wedding

There are weddings, and then there are extra special weddings. Rhett and Adam’s big day at Boulder Country Club was truly a memorable one for many reasons. Not only did I have the honor of planning and coordinating their wedding, but the whole experience was also full of meaning—especially considering my six years spent working at the club before starting my business. Being back there for such a special occasion felt like coming full circle, and there was no better couple to share that moment with than Rhett and Adam.

Rhett is the daughter of one of the Boulder Country Club’s most beloved member couples, so there’s a deep connection between her family and the club. When she and Adam decided to get married there, it felt like the perfect fit. Their love story is one of those rare, genuine connections that radiate warmth, and it was an absolute joy to help bring their wedding vision to life.

One of the standout features of this wedding was how important family (both human and furry) was to Rhett and Adam. They wanted their two dogs to be a part of the day, so we arranged for a pre-ceremony photo session at Rhett’s parents’ house, where the dogs could join in the fun and share in the joy of the celebration. The photos with the dogs were some of the most heartwarming moments of the day—there’s just something about pets that adds a personal touch and a sense of playfulness to the day.

After their adorable pre-ceremony photos, it was time for the main event! The ceremony was held outdoors at Boulder Country Club, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun was shining, the Rocky Mountains provided a stunning backdrop, and the natural beauty of the area created a serene atmosphere that perfectly complemented the couple’s vows.

The love and excitement were palpable as Rhett and Adam exchanged their vows in front of their closest family and friends. It was a beautiful, intimate ceremony that reflected the couple’s personalities and their deep love for one another.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way into the reception space at the Boulder Country Club, which had been transformed into a stunning venue. Rhett and Adam's reception had a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe, and the party continued into the night with heartfelt speeches, dancing, and, of course, lots of laughter. The newlyweds shared their first dance, and soon after, the energy in the room shifted as everyone joined in to celebrate their love. The reception was full of emotion, joy, and incredible moments that everyone will remember for years to come.

As someone who’s worked at Boulder Country Club for six years, this wedding felt particularly special to me. Watching Rhett and Adam celebrate this milestone was an incredibly rewarding experience. It was a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do: creating meaningful experiences that reflect the love and connections between families and friends.
