Real Wedding: Nicole + Esty’s Wedding at Lyons Farmette

When it comes to weddings, some things are just meant to be. Nicole and Esty’s celebration at Lyons Farmette was one of those unforgettable days where love shone bright, that it outshone the rainy weather we had this day. And though the sky was overcast, the rain only added to the magic of their intimate Colorado wedding.

When we got to the venue that day, it was pretty clear we may not have the ceremony and dinner outside. It was just a downpour of rain and while we waited as long as we could to set up, the decision was finally made to be inside. The couple’s determination to celebrate in the face of the weather only made the day more meaningful. Their outdoor ceremony, that was supposed to be set under a lush canopy of greenery, was moved inside due to the rain—but the venue’s warm, inviting atmosphere was just as perfect as the outdoor setting they had initially envisioned.

Nicole and Esty’s wedding was a perfect reminder that the weather may not always cooperate, but the love and joy you feel on your special day will always outshine any storm. Their wedding at Lyons Farmette was a beautiful celebration of love, resilience, and the beautiful imperfection that makes life—and weddings—so incredibly special. And what made it more special, the rain started to clear and our couple could get some dreamy photos outdoors!
